Yes, I am still alive and healthy, just that I am stuck doing exams, final ones before graduation - see the importance?
I can't wait to finish it though - SPM (the exam) is happening in 2 weeks time. I am here just to inform that I am still around and might be back soon.
All of these times I haven't been artistic. Me and my best friend (comic artist in the making here!)
We just did that in school, and we did it in time for the exam. The reason why we did it is because the Education Council is visiting our school - We are so famous..*dazes*
Problems?? YES We had lots of problems, alright. While making the mural,
1. We are slow because the teacher didn't bring enough significant sky blue paint. It took us apprx 4 liters of sky blue paint and 2 liters of white, plus others too.
2. The afternoon session students "assaulted" our mural by splashing purple paint on the walls. Thank Lord that nothing was badly damaged. However, we received the scoldings from the teachers. I am absolutely furious at this - do you like it if someone comes at your talent and write "SOHAI" right at your work??
*Note never to say that to a Chinese. Period.
3. Brushes. We didn't use professional brushes, since we are poor. We use 6mm and the "Smeargle" ones :3. If that's not all, our brushes were stolen during the painting process, no thanks to the bloody sods. But thank Lord again, our teacher bought us new ones, and we are no better to appreciate this.
4. Finally, workforce. Me,
5. Heavy pressure. Period. Credit to the leader,
6. The limitations. Due to religious barriers, our Muslim principal restricts us from all sorts of drawings/paintings, so we have to figure a way to impress viewers despite "filters". Antro is basically restricted. (IF we were not restricted, I'd imagine us drawing Hueco Mundo 虚圏
The "bonsai" and the mountains were taken from a Chinese text book and a Japanese gaming magazine respectively. Other than that, it's all on his imagination. He likes fishing, right? So yeah, you can see a lad fishing at the middle of the mural
The result? Fantastic. This is a masterpiece I rather die for. I mean, I never do much art, and neither I am talented nor content (left-handed). I like his thinking - to put the sunlight right at reality's source of light - fantastic. And the moon right at the dark part of the T-way hall (unseen).
おつかれさま です (have to study Japanese before sensei kills me!)
